|Erica Cerra Nude In Adam and Evil|
, 45 seconds of video clips.
Stylish shooting, quite a few red herrings and a game, attractive female cast should make Adam and Evil
recommended. Alas, this slasher flick with a supposed twist ending that's blown by the title isn't worth the ninety minutes it'll take you to make it through it.
The plot involves you usual gaggle of high school teenage cliché characters heading out on a camping trip to blow of some steam, drink, and get laid. But these teens are bound together by a deep dark secret, one that soon stops haunting their consciences and starts stalking them while on their lake trip. You've seen it a million times before and, no doubt, you'll see it again, but this one just never quite embraces the fun of the genre and instead gets mired down in a failed attempt to make viewers care for these rather cardboard characters. Instead of a blood and boobs fest, this attempts to be an earnest mystery/drama, but with a threadbare plot and such weak characters, why the moviemakers made such a miscalculated effort is beyond logic.
Wooden acting and lots of scenes with people just standing around talking also conspire to make Adam and Evil a bit of a bore, a shame considering that Barbara Kottmeier, Lynsey Brothers, Tiffany Paterson and Erica Serra all seem as though they can act and all are rather easy on the eyes. But their acting gifts are under-utilized in this whodunit that rarely manages an inkling of suspense, and their good looks are positively ignored save one sequence of shaky-cam leering while they cavort in a lake. On the plus side, lovely Allison Warnyca steals the show as the redneck sheriff's wife who gets a little too close to one of the campers and may be the reason everyone's turning up dead.
