The latest installment in the X-Men franchise takes a huge step backwards...in time! Forget about Cyclops, Storm and Nightcrawler. This time around you've got Professor Xavier and Magneto lookin' all young and handsome as they're surrounded by such hotties as January Jones (as Emma Frost), Rose Byrne (as Moira MacTaggert), Jennifer Lawrence (as Mystique) and Zoe Kravitz (as Angel Salvadore). TONS of fun, and January Jones is simply perfect in every single scene.
This is one of those indie flicks that starts to build a lot of momentum the more people see it. Carey Mulligan's awesome. Pierce Brosnan's awesome. Susan Sarandon's awesome. Even Evan Baxter's kid from Evan Almighty's awesome.
That's what everyone told me. They also said it was a horribly sad movie guaranteed to make you weepy and depressed and then joyously touched. Screw that! I came for the boobies! Thank god for Carey Mulligan's quick nude scene and a sexy Zoe Kravitz.
