Stephen King has a history of remaking his own movies. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not. Personally, I'll always prefer Kubrick's Shining to the TV remake. This version of COTC is a Sci Fi channel movie that becomes significantly more interesting with the Zita Vass sex scene that brings it up from a TV-NR to a full-frontal NR!

Season Two, Episode 1. Season two picks up a few months after where season one left off, with Hank and Karen now living together and contemplating a move back to New York. Mia's success with the novel she stole from Hank continues, as does Charlie's trouble at the agency. Everything seems good in Hank's world, until he goes to a party in the Hollywood Hills and accidentally goes down on the wrong woman (Zita Vass) in a darkened room. Guest star Vass gives us the full frontal treatment and Californication picks up right where it left off with some great pay TV nudity!
