Season Two, Episode 2. A couple decides to make a sexy movie to spice up their marriage and the results are amazing. Lezley Zen is her usual hot self, which means it's hard to buy her as just an average wife. And Taylor St. Clair is the world's hottest videographer.

The crown jewel in the now-defunct Charles Band-owned softcore empire called Surrender Cinema, Femalien ties with Lolita 2000 for the company's hottest flick and is definitely the most popular. Part of the credit has to be attributed to the gorgeous, ample-chested Venesa Talor, a stellar brunette with a cupie-doll face and a body built for dirty, dirty things. Talor plays Kara, an alien visiting Earth so that she might learn more about what makes humans as a species unique. In other words, she's here to get some hot male-female, female-female, and orgy action happening. The cast list is extensive, highlighted by regular Surrender Cinema girls Jacqueline Lovell, Taylor St. Clair and Holly Hollywood, but also featuring a number of great looking ladies in all manner of undress including Bobbie Marie, Skylar Nicholas, Stevi Conrad, Summer Leigh and - kicking off things in high style at the start of the picture with a solid 10 minute love scene - redheaded porn vet Leena here credited as Kathleen Mazzotta. Awesome stuff and a must for every self-respecting softcore fan's collection!

When b-movie maven Charles Band closed up shop with his Full Moon entertainment label, many a softcore fan wept as included with that fold was good ol' Surrender Cinema. A production house more or less devoted to thinly-plotted erotica that featured a jaw-dropping number of actresses, Surrender Cinema brought us such classics as Femalien (and its sequel), Lolida 2000 and Virtual Encounters (and its sequel.) Purportedly helmed by a woman named Cybil Richards, these flicks are completely interchangeable – so interchangeable that Surrender cinema once made a compilation video with scenes from all of the different movies cut together. Well, there's less pretense with that approach anyhow.

Virtual Encounters is one of the crowning jewels in the fallen Surrender Cinema empire. The threadbare story follows cold-fish Amy (Elizabeth Kaitan) as she gets in touch with her inner "bad girl" by partaking in a new virtual reality scheme that plays all manner of sexual scenarios for participants. Soon she's witnessing jungle-sex, caveman sex, romantic candlelight boot-knocking, bondage clad lesbians and, in the movie's best scene, Jacqueline Lovell and Tricia Yen in an Oriental setting complete with oils and nipple rings.

Softcore fans will embrace the various shenanigans, but those not into sex without context will want to look elsewhere. Also stars many porn actresses including Taylor St. Claire, Brittany Andrews, Jill Kelly, Cathleen Raymond, Sara Bellomo and Lori Morrissey.

Although not exhibited in the United States, the erotic television series Click was a series of seven 90 minute productions loosely based on the erotic graphic novels of the same name by Italian artist Milo Manara. In 1985, the first of Manara's books (1983's Il gioco) was turned into the French movie Le Déclic, then in the late 90's, after several several more Click graphic novel sequels were published, softcore impresario Alain Siritzky got hold of the adaptation rights, creating a terrific showcase for some of the hottest genre talent available, including Gabriella Hall, Jacqueline Lovell, Kira Reed, and Taylor St. Clair.

Unfortunately, only four of the original seven productions appear to have been released on DVD: The Body Beautiful, Sexual Dependence Day, Erotic Curse of Cairo, and Balls of Thunder (a James Bond play off Thunderball) and all now travel under different titles. It's the hope of many a softcore fan that both this, and Butterscotch, another Siritzky/Manara partnership will someday be officially packaged and released.

Available on DVD in the U.S. as The Ultimate Audition, the first of the Click movies, The Body Beautiful the mysterious Click remote control falls from a plane and crashes through the roof of a financially troubled health club. The remote, which can instantly arouse those it is pointed at with "click" of a button, ends up being a savior for the health club when two of its workers (the delicious, bubbly Gabriella Hall and charismatic, funny David Chielens) start having a little fun with the gadget, instantly making the club a hotspot for the fitness mavens looking for a little more than tight abs.

While the production suffers from Siritzky's insistence on spinning camera sex scenes and gauzy, vaseline-on-the-lens style shooting (the same techniques that hurt the otherwise fine Emmanuelle in Space series), overall The Ultimate Attraction is a fun, erotic-comedic romp chock-full-of skins scenes from talent well-known and not so well known. Recurring Click cast members Jacqueline Lovell and Holly Hollywood (in a very small, very underlit role) are joined by the lovely and talented Kiva (as 1/2 of a bumbling, burglering duo), Nina Leichtling (as the lecherous - but hot - real estate magnate ready to buy out the health club), and Taylor St. Clair as, well, apparently a stand-in for full-frontal shy Gabriella Hall during one of Hall's love scenes where the remote actual turns Hall into St. Clair (and Simona Votypkova as well). Later St. Clair appears again in a steamy sauna scene with a "click-aroused" Lovell.

It's all silly fun, and you see a lot more ladies naked than not as the majority of the featured extras include some recognizable names like Jennifer Burton and porn starlet Stephanie Swift as health club visitors caught in the erotic rapture of the "click" remote. Also caught "breaking a sweat" are lesser knowns like Bo Zena, Janine Stillo and Taylor Parque.

If you haven't seen it, or any of the Click series, The Ultimate Attraction goes highly recommended for fans of the genre and for those that like some laughs with their non-explicit sex scenes!

The steamy nights along the Florida coast get even hotter in this sensually stunning tale of forbidden desires, as a Miami late-night radio hostess delves into her callers' most sexual fantasies, then later finds new ways to turn dreams into reality. Noted erotica director Andrew Blake's softcore drama stars a host of gorgeous women including Seana Ryan, Bonita Saint, Gina Lamarca, Jenteal, Tiffany Burlingame, Taylor St. Clair, Denise Nelson, Andrea Marie, Renee, the positively stunning JC Collins, Sonja McDaniel, Levena Holmes, and two very lovely unknowns. The combination of director Cybil (Sybil) Richards with the (semi) open wallet of b-movie mogul Charles Band during the mid-90's lead to some of the more memorable softcore productions of that time. Virtual Encounters, Femalien, Lolita 2000 and The Exotic House of Wax are among their best, mostly because the features short-careered ingénue Jacqueline Lovell (aka, Sara St. James). The fine-figured blonde writhed her way into the hearts and pants of straight-to-video audiences with a naughty-girl-next-door demeanor and an up-for-anything attitude that, when coupled with her rather Californian sufer-dudette charisma made her abandonment of the genre one of its most insufferable losses.

In this Richards' opus, Ms. Lovell and her friends stumble across an amulet that animates wax statues that interpret various historical couplings (or threesomes). Along for the ride is Blake Pickett as a museum artist who needs a new idea for her work, and Lisa Comshaw as a deaf member of a secret society of clerics. Uh-huh. What it all really amounts to is a whole Hell of a lot of simulated sex and full-frontal nudity from the girls and their new wax friends.

And who are these wax creations? Reading a cast list is like trying to crack the "Da Vinci Code," and most databases have either incorrect credits or mistaken assignments as to who is who. Here's a fairly definitive list of who does what (and whom!)

Another addition to the Cybil Richards' canon, this one is a must-have for fans of Surrender Cinema work or Jacqueline Lovell. While the overdubbing of music rather than keeping the natural sound (read: sighs and moans) is an annoying Surrender staple, the quality of women here good enough to make up for such a transgression.

The dawning of a new millennium has brought with it the banning of all sexual activities and explicit art, but a government censor named Lolida finds her own sexuality awakened by a trilogy of stories she monitors in this erotic sci-fi drama. Jacqueline Lovell, Gabriella Hall, Nikki Nova, Skylar Nicholas, Heather James, Taylor St. Claire and one really hot Unknown Lolida star.

Brad's wife is mysteriously murdered. Detective Crank has too many other things to do than find her killer so he tells Brad to do some of his own detective work. Brad begins recounting all of his affairs that his has had with women he met on an internet fantasy line. From these women, he must try and decide which one killed his wife and why.

A psychic advises Carly (Landon Hall) to reserve a weekend at the Hotel Exotica in an attempt to spice up a stale marriage. This movie is especially sexy and well thought out. The plot is good, the acting is good, and the sex scenes get an A+. This is an outstanding flick for seasoned couples seeking a spicy entertainment.
