When Cady (Lindsay Lohan) moves to suburbia she has trouble fitting in until she learns to apply the law of the jungle to her high school rivals. This film was surprisingly decent. There's more than a little bit of Heathers in Mean Girls and it's predictable for the most part, but the jokes zing and some of the observations are fresh, making for a pretty funny movie. It's funny enough, in fact, to ignore some of the more obvious plot problems. For example, we're to believe that Cady has been so isolated she has no idea what the girls mean when they say, "Shut up!" Her reply is, "But I didn't say anything." However, she seems to be an expert in the application of makeup and even before the Plastics slutify her she's got a pretty good fashion sense. But like I said, the movie is funny, so who cares if it doesn't quite make sense. Also staring Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried.

Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) meets a seemingly charming man (Cillian Murphy) as she's about to board a plane, but once they are in the air she finds he's not the man he seems. He's been sent to force her to do something or her father, who's on the ground, will be murdered. Lisa has to find away to escape and race against the clock to save lives. A taut, action packed thriller from director Wes Craven, who's better known for his horror work. McAdams' star continues to rise with this performance, which should help throw her into Reese Witherspoon's orbit, though McAdams is a better actress. Murphy is also marvelously creepy as the hit man. And in a rarity from Hollywood these days, this movie is not too long. It clocks in at a speedy 83 minutes.

While visiting a patient in a nursing home, a kindly man reads her the story of star-crossed lovers Allie and Noah from a faded notebook. This is a chick flick, no question, but it's a pretty good drama for everyone with great acting. And Rachel McAdams has rarely looked prettier than she does in this movie. Check out the DVD for uncut versions of the love scenes wher you can see Rachel's right breast pop out during the sex.

Italian-Canadian film about a man (Corrado Fortuna) who meets a pretty American girl (Rachel McAdams) while she is on vacation in Italy and then comes to America to find her when he can't get her out of his head. It may be a charming little romance, but honesty I can't tell since 90% of it is in Italian! It is notable for containing Rachel McAdams's only real nude scene to date.
