If you're a fan of modern National Lampoon movies, then you're gonna love this one. Vampires meet co-eds as a group of students experience one of the strangest semesters abroad imaginable. Funny, but not in a spoof Scary Movie type way, it also features some amazing hotties like Jennifer Lyons, Irena A. Hoffman, Desiree Malonga, Radita Rosu, Adriana Butoi and Simon Petric. Now in HD!
This creepy series from former Hardy Boy Sean Cassidy is the best among the raft of hew alien invasion and supernatural series that premiered in the wake of the success of ABC's Lost. After Hurricane Eve ravishes Homestead, Florida, weird things start happening in town and glowing things are swimming in the swamps. Trying to get to the bottom of things is park ranger Russell (Eddie Cibrian), who's wife maybe be infected by whatever is out there. The series has a scary, government conspiracy overtone that recalls The X Files, but it's unique because it focuses on family. Also staring William Fincher, Lisa Sheridan and Kari Matchett.
Surprisingly decent fish out of water teen soap about a kid from the wrong side of the tracks (Benjamin McKenzie) who's taken in by a rich family in Ocean County, CA. He immediately falls for the girl next door (Mischa Barton), which just causes him more trouble as he tries to fit in. A highlight for me is Kelly Rowan, who plays the mother figure. She's a total MILF and hopefully she'll have an affair with the guy next door. The O.C. is looking to the a 'Beverly Hills 90210" for the new millenium, but so far it's better written and better acted than that Spelling show ever was, which isn't surprising since the new series is produced by Doug Liman (Go, The Bourne Identity) and McG (Charlie's Angels, 'Fastlane').
