As a professional assassin, Viktor (Joachim Krol) is coolly disciplined, a peerless killer pursuing every assignment with such ruthless perfectionism that each target is brought down with a single shot. A chain of strange circumstances leads Viktor to rescue the beautiful and mysterious Nina (Nadja Uhl), and as he feels himself drawn closer to her, his enemies sense a critical vulnerability that could bring his career to a violent end. Intense and complex thriller from Germany also stars Christian Berkel, Rudolf Martin, and Lisa Martinek.
Based on the book of the same name, this movie follows the story of the Red Army Faction from 1967 to 1977. This is a gritty, no-holds-barred movie that will have you glued to the screen if you have no previous knowledge of the events that took place in a 10 year span in Germany. For Americans it will be difficult to imagine something like this happening here, but I'm sure some great nudity from Martina Gedeck, Susanne Bormann, Nadja Uhl and Johanna Wokalek will make it go down a bit easier.
