Michelle Monaghan plays a trucker who finds that she may have to stop sleeping around and taking long runs when her ex-boyfriend gets sick, leaving her to care for their 11 year old son. A petty thief (Downey) posing as an actor is brought to Los Angeles for an unlikely audition and finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation along with his high school dream girl (Michelle Monaghan) and a detective (Kilmer) who's been training him for his upcoming role. Also starring Shannyn Sossamon, Tanja Reichert, and some other assorted hotties.
