In 1985's Cavegirl, a put-upon high school nerd named Rex gets to start his life over again when he takes a field trip to a series of mysterious caves and winds up, via some kind of time vortex, in prehistoric times. There he meets a clan of cave bears, most notably the lovely Eba who he begins to court with very mixed results. But even as Eba begins to return his affections, he feels a strong pull to return to his own time even though he's not sure he will ever find a way to return. Daniel Roebuck plays Rex, and as the movie was produced in the mid-80's, the filmmakers try to pass him off as high school-age even though he looks about 35 years old with middle-age spread settling in. Typical of that era's comedies, everyone in the high school scenes looks far older than their late teens, including the lovely locker room girls that chase Rex - while topless of course - out of their domain. These five lovelies include some serious 80's screen babes (Michelle Bauer, Susanne Mierisch, and Jasae) as well as two lesser known ladies, (Pamela Powers, Susie Lynch) but all are looking great. Also very, very attractive and spending all of her screen time either in or out of a skimpy Cavegirl bikini is Cynthia Thompson, an absolute vision in blonde curls that's reason enough to check the movie out. Alas, some of the onscreen nudity is played for laughs by heavy set Cynthia Rullo who plays a caveman's wife that has eyes for poor Rex.

Fred Olen Ray's gang of breast-loving buffoons set up camp - and yes, CAMP is the perfect word - once again for this mis-titled romp through an all-girl school where the administration (run by Michelle Bauer and her henchwomen, Syren and Monique Parent) seem to be up to no good. Not that anyone cares: the girls at the school are far too busy sticking their tongues into each others various orifices to notice much. If you're into the schoolgirl look - pleated skirts, white-button ups and even whiter underwear - you're going to love this. While Christine Nguyen gets most of the screen-time and her pigtails are devilishly charming (as is her positively killer body that's just plain built for sex), this reviewer found Charlie Laine the cutest, sexiest schoolgirl on the roll sheet. With a face to die for and a body that doesn't quit, Laine only has one scene, but it's quite a spicy one as it's shared with the ever-busy Syren. Indeed, the Asian hard/softcore star here is seen diddling herself while watching Nguyen shower, cavorting in a terrific scene with the ageless Monique Parent, and seducing Charlie Laine. Not to be outdone, Nguyen gets some girl-on-girl action with flat-chested, but cute Kitty Katzu, then goes buck-wild with Olen Ray regular Nicole Sheridan only to end up getting groped by (a fully clothed) Michelle Bauer. Hell, even Beverly Lynne shows up for a scene with Sheridan and porn-star Voodoo. All is good fun, sure, but the sex is the real draw here and it is pretty damn hot.

This splendidly awful horror/exploitation flick from 1991 was originally titled Millennium Countdown and was conceived as a sequel to 1987's schlocky Cheerleader Camp. The proceedings start off promising with an entire sorority house filled with mostly naked babes starting their day. Among the beauteous bazooms on display are those of a young, trim Michelle Bauer and porno starlet Savannah, both of whom treat the audience to extended shower scenes. Tossed in for shits and giggles are Jacklyn Palmer, Julie Wilson and Suzanne Ager who all doff their tops as well. Alas, Dori Courtney steals the show with her stunning black lingerie, though she competes against stiff competition in her scene with comely Erika Nann who is oddly not credited in the lead role of Wendy!

So it's off to a great start, sure, but tragically the movie goes way, way off the rails once things get underway and the lead characters arrive at Mystic Mountain. Biker rapists, a sea monster and a seven-foot tall Druid looking to bring about the end of the world with four virgin sacrifices is what you get, and little of it is as involving as it sounds. Thankfully we do get some nice looks at Peggy McIntaggart, Betsy Russell, and Mindy Myer who, along with Nann, get inexplicably dressed-up by the Druid in cavegirl costumes! Pure cinematic foolishness, this one is no doubt in heavy rotation at bad movie nights all over the world.

Julie Strain, looking ever the tall, buxom Amazon she is, here leads a coven of trendy, Los Angeles underground vampires while pining away for her lost love: the vamp that originally turned her who has been dead (no... like, really dead - not just vamp-dead) for 400 years. When one of her kith discovers a country-girl transplant, (Raelynn Saalman - here given an "introducing" credit, though she'd done at least half a dozen movies prior), Strain's vamp (named Illyana, not Morgana) is stunned to see Saalman is a dead-ringer for her lost love, only... y'know, she's a woman.

That doesn't stop Strain from pursuing Saalman and attempting to turn her into a vamp as well, something that Saalman's country-boyfriend visiting the big city tries to stop after enlisting the aid of a Van Helsing-like vamp hunter. To add even more confusion (and boobs) into the mix, some of the vampire family aren't happy with Strain as their leader (she keeps hogging all the best looking ladies they use as prey for herself), so efforts are made to undermine her plan to turn Saalman into her lover.

Indeed it's foolish, but you get a good dose of nudity despite the R-rating not only from Strain, but also from fellow Amazons Michelle Bauer and Linda Holdhal both of whom could either be vampires or 80's metal chicks, depending on context. Saalman's country girl spends a good portion of the proceedings parading around starkers, and a very blonde, almost unrecognizable Monique Parent shows up as well, giving those with more lithe tastes in the ladies a little eye candy. Filling out the cast (literally!) is vamp victim and shower aficionado Tamara Carrera, and as the British accented vampire looking to challenge Strain's leadership, Mary Tudor gives only but the barest glimpse of her bloodsucker bosom, which is still better than nothing.

For fans of vampire movies, this is probably a curio and another in a long-line of goofy cinematic failures to bring the sensuality and mystery of night dwellers to the screen, but for softcore and b-movie fans, this is a fun way to waste an hour-and-a-half. It's worth noting that there was a more explicit version of this movie released somewhere in the world called Blonde Heaven, which is the name of the "escort agency" run by the vamps (don't ask), but it is apparently terribly difficult to track down.

God Bless David DeCoteau. The purveyor of such classic b-movies as Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bolw-a-Rama and Beach Babes 2: Cave Girl Island struck again in 1989 with this gem of a trifle starring 80's pin-up Judy Landers as a science professor conducting a sexual experiment on a typical teenage horndog. When the kid starts sprouting a bizarre, puckering tentacle from the top of his head, women suddenly find him irresistible and it's soon revealed that Landers is a blue-headed alien that teaches our young man and intergalactic lesson about confidence. Essentially E.T. with boobs, Dr. Alien furnishes viewers with laughs both intentional and unintentional.

Wisely, the movie was picked up by the USA Network in the early 1990's as part of their "Up All Nite" program hosted by Gilbert Godfried and Rhonda Shear, and that's generally where everyone that's ever become a fan of this movie saw it first. Of course, the unedited, DVD version includes some fun surprises not included in the "Up All Nite" broadcasts, including some terrific looks at a bevvy of late 80's greats like Edy Williams, Michelle Bauer, Linnea Quigly and porn great Ginger Lynn Allen, as well as some lesser known (but no less appealing) talents like Laura Albert and Julie Gray. Gray in particular impresses as a stuck-up coed who has repeatedly spurns the lead character, only to later corner him in a bathroom and with a pair of rather eye-popping chesticles.

For her part, when not ripping off her face to reveal a giant blue puppet head, headliner Judy Landers struts around in lingerie and stiffly goes through the motions in an awkward love scene largely presented in shadow. Similarly, 80's teen looker Olivia Barash only flashes a brief bit of bra when she jumps the lead character in a car, but it's saucy just the same and all in good fun.

If you're a fan of silly b-movies and haven't yet come across Dr. Alien, it's advised you pick up a copy and crack open a few beers and a pizza box. Filled with innocent 80's cliches and foolish plot turns (as well as some nice looking ladies), it's an entertaining way to kill an hour and a half.

Jack Chandler is a private eye tracking down Samantha the runaway, (played by the exquisitely formed Linnea Quigley. In his travels, he comes across a gang of chainsaw weilding prostitutes that like to carve people up for their cult. Starring Michelle Bauer, Esther Elise and Tricia Burns as the disciples of the chainsaw cult, the movie also features a couple nice moments from Susie Wilson and an Unknown Fire Eater. If you do track the movie down on DVD, be sure to look for the "Night Owl Theater" edition which features a pretty humorous intro from director Fred Olen Ray that provides a few good looks at Ray's wife Ms. Kim (Kimberly Ray) as well as Katie Jordon and Alannah Rhodes.

Way-out terror and kink-out from Jess Franco in which the ghost of Dr. Frankenstein tells daughter Moira (Lina Romay) that she should resurrect his abandoned project. Using her own breast blood, Moira brings the naked Goddess (Michelle Bauer) back to life, but Moira's lesbian attraction to another woman (Amber Newman) makes her Dad's creation blow a gasket. Two versions of the film are offered on this disc: the 80-minute American version and a European print with seven minutes of extra footage.
