Hired gun Tom Horn (Steve McQueen, in his penultimate film) gets more than he bargained for when some Wyoming cattlemen enlist him to eradicate the rustlers decimating their herds. But after he makes short work of the thieves, the ranchers -- with help from politically motivated U.S. Marshal Joe Belle (Billy Green Bush) -- frame Horn for murder in this absorbing Western. The cast includes Richard Farnsworth, Linda Evans and Slim Pickens.
