Cook takes Effy with him to meet his father who proves that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. This makes Effy realize that she has made a terrible mistake by falling for Cook, so she calls Freddie to come get her. He brings along JJ, but has an argument with him when they meet up with Cook and Effy. Cook challenges a local in the granny carrying race. Freddie and JJ enter as well and there is much more on the line than just winning the cash prize.

Effy's world is falling apart around her. Her parents have split up after her mother's affair and she is not handling it at all well. She is in a fruitless relationship with Cook that she cannot get out of. She can't seem to get it together with Freddie, who has moved on with Katie, even though he still pines for Effy. But, when Katie organizes a party in the woods, things are about to get a whole lot worse for Effy.

J.J. is worried that he is about to lose his two best friends, Freddie and Cook. He goes on a mission to find out the cause and works out that it is Effy, who all three friends are pining after. Meanwhile, Emily gives J.J. a 'freebie' and he loses his virginity.

Freddie is having a hard time dealing with the various facets of his life. His sister is in the final of 'Search for a SexxBomb', a TV show to find a third member of an ultra-sexual pop group. She is also getting all the attention from their father and using their mother's death to get votes on the show. He is desperately pining for Effy, who has conflicting feelings for Freddie. And his best friend Cook is about to double cross him and put their friendship to the test.

Pandora invites the girls over for a sleep over. No drugs, no alcohol and no boys. Yeah, right! It isn't long before the sleep over descends into a full-on party with the help of some hash brownies, the curious boys and Katie's boyfriends' friends. Pandora misses her boyfriend, Thomas, who is forced back to Congo. But then, she falls into the arms of Cook, much to the annoyance of Effy.

It's back to school for the new class of Skins. As we join Effy (Kaya Scodelario), sister of Tony, her friend Pandora and a new gang of friends who are just as crazy and party hard as the previous class.

Effy will make all the boys' heads spin and starts by setting a challenge that she will sleep with the boy who breaks all the college rules by the end of the day. And Cook is just the boy to do that.
