See how far she'll go in this well-acted, sex-packed drama that also a huge cast of well-known softcore veterans including Julia Kruis, Janine Lindemuldar, Nikki Nova, Amy Lindsay, and Lisa Comshaw as well as Shawnee Meyers and several Unknown Lap Dancers.

Season One, Episode 6. A private eye hired to keep an eye on a rich man's wife (Julia Kruis) ends up banging her, and her lover (Candace Washington), too.

Episode 12. Upon learning her husband has been seeing one of Belle's girls a sexually repressed housewife takes lessons in sexuality from her husband’s mistress. Stacked blonde Julia Kruis is the mistress and porn goddess Chloe Nicole is the wife and there's lots of hot sex. Need I say more?

Yet another in the seemingly endless line of compilation videos assembled by the rights holders to just about all softcore produced during the 1990's and 2000's (aka: Mainline Releasing Group), Deviant Affairs almost doesn't even attempt a wraparound story. In it, Christine Nguyen and Jezebelle Bond play girlfriends spending a leisurely afternoon together sipping wine, getting backrubs (and more), and trading sex stories culled out of many other MRG titles. It sounds a lot worse than it actually is because the editors here have uncovered some excellent semi-rare scenes from a variety of obscure titles while also giving Nguyen and Bond a few scenes of their own to showcase their bedroom talents. Best from the archive? The scenes featuring lovely, well-endowed and energetic Mandy Fisher from a flick called Naked and Betrayed. Mandy's a National Treasure, pure and simple, and her short softcore career left us with some legendary scenes that are hotter than Hell on an August summer day.

A few years back, MRG was pruchased by a company called New Frontier which had hopes to repackage the infinite volumes of softcore treats contained in the company's expansive library. Thus movies like this will continue to play on late-night cable. While it's always better to get new material in this genre, seeing some of these scenes (like the opening credits love scene with Cheyenne from Deviant Desires without the titles over it) are pretty great. It's also cool to see Julia Kruis looking her very best in two scenes from Scandalous Sex, although here you get her in a couple different movies to compare her changing looks (as you do with Ms. Bond who appears in the new scenes and in an archive scene!)

An excellent softcore series originally broadcast on Showtime back at the turn of the century, Lady Chatterley's Stories features Shauna O'Brien as the title character, here re-imagined as a land broker that spends her evenings counseling friends' and acquaintances' sex lives. As with all of the late-night cable series from the 90's and early 2000's, there's a lot of storytelling that leads to some nice, soft-lit coupling between gorgeous women and hunky guys, although here pornstar Rebecca Lord - acting as the series's director - manages to turn up the heat more than some other shows did.

The episode entitiled The Wager feels almost like a pilot episode due to the presense of Chloe Nicholle as Lady Chatterley instead of series star Shuana O'Brien. While Chloe doesn't get in any intimate scenes, her fine co-stars do in this story about a roguish visitor to Ms. Chatterley's estate who seems to always get what he wants. Starring Julia Kruis, Holly Sampson and the fit, gorgeous Samm Kroft. Croft here is credited as Yvette Faulkner, and in this episode made her acting debut in erotic movies, a genre that benefited not only from her acting talents, but also her skills as a writer!

Another in the ever-growing list of Mainline Releasing Group's (MRG) repackaged "compilation videos," Young Girls Do is a curiously titled slice of erotica featuring porn gals Syren and Jordan Styles as narrators of spicy tales culled from the vaults of late-night Skinemax. There's no real story to speak of, just Styles, Syren and their respective boyfriends playing strip poker and recounting saucy stories featuring a wide variety of softcore's most-loved actresses. As 85% of the cutaway segments are taken from the 90's cable program Nightcap (with the remaining 20% culled from episodes of The Best Sex Ever), you're correct if you guessed you'd see a whole lot of Tane McClure, Brandy Davis, and Nikki Fritz. What's nice is the producers were kind enough to include Fritz's terrific "pig tails" scene from Nightcap - always a fine bit of erotica to revisit!

Also including among the long, long line of actresses featured in this collection are such greats as Chloe Nicole, Julie Kruis (with nipple ring in!), Holly Sampson and the positively gorgeous redhead Regina Russell. Porn star Maya Divine (Wendy Devine) makes an appearance as well, as does a lithe, athletic looking porn vet named Isabella(aka Veronika).

Many fans begrudge MRG for not simply producing new work and constantly culling from the archives, but for others, movies like Young Girls Do mix the current mode of production (really cheap with porno chicks) with the better methods from "back in the day" (ie: not nearly as cheap with porno chicks that could actually act!). The result is often humorous because the scenes from the old shows are so much better produced, that the new stuff just comes off looking shoddy. That said, Syren and Jordan Styles grind their way to ecstasy with aplomb, so fans of "the new school" aren't feeling unattended to.

Great? No. Worthy of your time? Perhaps. It depends on your love for the genre as many softcore fans will enjoy this stroll down memory lane.

This is one of Mainline Releasing Group's compilation movies, this time packaging a number of scenes from the late-night cable series Kama Sutra. And what's not to love about these compilations? Here you're served up some of softcore erotica's best stars without the pretense of plot or even many dialogue scenes! Yes, there's some nonsense filler about the producers of an erotic television discussing some of the series' highlights, but that just sets you up for three new, shot on video and cheaply-produced sex scenes starring this movie's credited cast of Tabitha Stevens, Angela Davies and Susan Hale. If you're interested in the origins of the rest of the scenes and the credited cast therein, below is a handy guide. Again, all of the scenes are culled from the daftly named 2000 cable series Kama Sutra which has nothing to do with the Eastern art of lovemaking, but rather was just an excuse to get some very nice looking actresses out of their clothes! Unfortunately, an official DVD release of the series is unlikely, so compilation movies such as these become a goldmine for fans of the genre - especially when the producers leave the scenes largely intact with the original soundtrack.

Absurdity abounds in this MRG Entertainment production starring porn starlet Chelsea Blue (here credited as Brook Lavelle) as a woman-loving femme-fatale that seduces two married men and then attempts to blackmail then out of several hundred thousand dollars. One of then, a District Attorney wannabe married to succulent Julia Kruis, clearly has more than money to lose. The other, a plastic surgeon with trophy wife Nicole Sheridan (in one of her first softcore starring roles), would lose money… and trophy wife Nicole Sheridan.

While the prospect of imminent sex happening with a woman as seductive as Blue may be alluring to some, the prospect of shagging both Blue and her lover, the positively delectable Monique Alexander, at the same time would be nearly impossible not to pursue. That said, these two rich, non-charismatic studs are married to rather jaw-dropping specimens themselves, so why would they be so eager to stray? For the sake of movies that must be stuffed with all manner of passionate couplings and threesomes!

Yes, the sex here is the star and a rather vapid storyline doesn't deter from seeing all involved get busy with one another. In one of the more eye-rolling moments of the picture, Blue decides to tempt Sheridan into a little one-on-one, having already sampled Sheridan's husband. For her part, Sheridan is bringing her A-game, and she seems far more comfortable here than she has in many of her later roles with Fred Olen Ray's company. Also a highlight is Blue in her scene with the plastic surgeon and Monique Alexander. That'll get people talking around the water cooler at work if it got out, although it's hard to imagine too many men dogging the poor guy for anything other than more details about his good fortune.

Behind Bedroom Doors isn't going to puzzle anyone with its story, or really get anyone involved, but it will manage to steam up the TV screens of most softcore fans looking for a good way to spend an hour-and-a-half.

A laughable "mystery-thriller" purportedly from Playboy, Dangerous Passions is (as of May, 2006) out-of-print in the U.S. and Canada and only available as a Region 3 DVD. And while the storyline or acting isn't exactly going to inspire anyone to hunt it down, the graphic softcore sex scenes and rather attractive (female) cast may entice.

Starring Randy Spears as a rather unlikable flatfoot trying to solve the mystery behind a Hollywood record producer's murder, the movie really just seems to be reaching for ways to have it's central characters knock boots. Spears hooks up with his hot wife, Wendy Rice (who generates a good amount of heat despite being heavily tattooed and mightily miscast) as well as the deceased's mourning bi-sexual wife played by softcore veteran Julia Kruis. In the background of all of this, we see flashbacks of Kruis with the record producer, who was also schtooping his sexy office assistant, Jezebelle Bond.

But Kruis, as mentioned before, is bi-sexual, (as all women are in these direct-to-video flesh fests) so we're treated to a couple instances of her being "instructed" by her tennis coach Nakita Cash.

With so many people getting frisky, there's plenty of suspects in the sleazy producer's death, but the big reveal will probably surprise no one, although it's a very notable scene in that, right during the climax of the picture, director Adams makes the insane decision to cut to a sex scene flashback! Talk about filling your quota!

Generally well done Skinimax series about couples in trouble who bring their problems to sex specialist (Tamara Landry).

In this weird episode the fourth wall is broken as two men discuss an herb given to them by Tamara that drives women wild. They freely acknowledge they are in an episode of a late night cable series. Stars Peggy Trentini, Kristin Harner and Julia Kruis.

Lessee....what's the most outstanding thing about this movie? How 'bout they did a great job of getting the actresses' nipples to stand up during the sex scenes. :-)

Plot-wise, it's pretty bad: famous male designer conspires with a model to steal designs from a newbie female designer, but is thwarted by the guy's girlfriend. Meantime, everyone is screwing everyone.

Typical cable-rated fare, but like I said, they did a great job with the nipples.
