Episode 111. Essentially an urban Sex and the City but with a lot more "street" than "city," Zane's Sex Chronicles is a curio of late-night cable entertainment. The leads can, for the most part, deliver their lines convincingly. The production value - though a bit too gauzy - is quite good. And the entire vibe of each episode is sexy, but not exploitative. What results is a show with actual characters moving through their (albeit sexy) lives, all woven together by friendship and the writings of a sex-columnist named "Zane" who just happens to be one of the ladies in this group of gals. The one big knock on the show is that the leads are so attractive that their scant nude scenes become frustrating for regular viewers that want the goods, a problem the producers seem to laughably address by bringing Zane's columns to the screen with softcore/hardcore talent that isn't bashful about dropping their kit and riding off into the sunset. The quick bits of harder softcore make the show feel a bit unsure of what direction it wants to go in, but overall this is a decent show for couples that aren't interested in porn, but that might want to watch something a little saucy.

In The Voyeur a lot of the more soap-opera-y storylines of the show start to veer into new directions, specifically Maricruz's (the athletic and delicious Johanna Quintero) relationship with Charles who turns out to be a bit too weird, and Lyric's (Maya Gilbert) ever-increasingly dissatisfied sex life with Estaban which is further impacted by John's in-the-examination-room advances. Meanwhile, Patience's Zane writings deliver what audiences REALLY want, this time with the titular story about a woman (Kaylani Lei, here looking especially sexy), her telescope and the busy hunk across the way. Lei and co-porn vet Mackenzee Pearce provide all the fire here, but the episode is memorable for providing at least a few glimpses of the startlingly yummy Quintero.

Misty's scene is beautifully shot and Melessia's scene, where she's bent over a table, is awesome, but Johanna gives us her hottest sex scene yet.

Series regulars Johanna and Laila do some nice nude work, but it's really guest stars Megan, and especially Beverly that provide the fireworks in this episode. Beverly Lynne can do no wrong!
