This multinational television adaptation of Ken Follett's novel wasn't bad as miniseries go and featured some fine performances from Ian McShane and Matthew Macfayden. Also sharing her impressive gifts was Brit actress Hayley Atwell, but could not be contained by a corset, and Natalia Worner, who breaks her nun vows in the best possible way.
