If Forbidden isn't one of the top ten best softcore erotica movies ever made, it's certainly not from a lack of trying. What's interesting is that while the movie most certainly is wall-to-wall sex and nudity, it's also an engaging drama about the magnetic pull between two people "meant to be together."

The lovestruck lead characters of Forbidden meet on the night of the man's bachelor party, a sordid affair during which his best friend is busy sticking his face in every available spot offered up by a pair of rather hot strippers played by blonde Maya Divine (aka Wendy Devine) and brunette Tiffany Mason. The soon-to-be-wed bachelor, however, isn't in the mood, goes for a stroll and meets the positively beautiful Renee Rea.

Seductive in an almost doll-faced, innocent sort of way, Rea is magnetic here; and the viewer is thankfully treated to many a long lingering shot not only of her exquisite body, but also of her round, young face punctuated by a pair of perfect bee-stung lips and wide brown eyes. Indeed, it would have been tough to imagine the bachelor could return to any woman after his steamy night with Rea... that is until you discover he's getting married to the also ridiculously hot Tracy Ryan.

Ryan's a porn vet, and her energetic sex scenes show an uninhibited ease before the camera. While Rea is flirty and cute, Ryan is locked-in and ready for action. The pair, while both blondes, make pretty terrific foils.

The narrative leaps ahead three years to reveal the bachelor now happily married with Ryan, but still thinking every now and again about his one night stand with Rea. Then the unthinkable happens, his playboy best friend, (last seen with Maya Divine's boobs in his face) is getting married, and by the most odd of coincidences, his new wife turns out to be none other than Renee Rea.

At an isolated cabin over a weekend, the two couples get together for an introduction to the friend's soon-to-be wife, and many a plot twist (and romantic coupling) ensue. There's even enough time for the best friend to reminisce about a fling he had with very athletic-looking Inari Vachs! Incredibly, the story holds together rather well and the ending is satisfying.

Better than average shooting, direction, music and acting make Forbidden stand out among its genre counterparts, and through it should be considered a necessary addition to any softcore collector's library, it's a great couples movie and also worth the time of those not as familiar with erotic cinema.

Season One, Episode 7. Trapped in a tent on Mt Everest Tori (Sasha Peralto) and Sean strip to maximize body heat and huddle together to keep warm. They survive and this use their experience as the basis of a Thrills magazine article. However, when their article shows up on the pages of a competitor, Felicia and the staff launch a counter espionage operation to find the traitor in their midst. Episode features several hot scenes from Kira Reed and a great scene with the stunning Fleur Cooper.
