| Writer/director Nicole Conn, best known for her 1992 lesbian relationship drama Claire of the Moon mines similar thematic territory in this ulta-low budget period piece set in the 1800's when Sapphic romance was forbidden and condemned. Laced with Byronic poetry and Victorian flavored romance, the movie chronicles the blossoming love affair between a sculptress and poet that meet at a seaside inn circa 1883. While the production recalls the look 1980's BBC style video, the content is extremely arousing as the characters are brought to life fearlessly by the rather gorgeous duo of Johanna Nemeth (Cynara, the sculptress) and Melissa Hellman (Byron, the poet). While the poetry may not be appreciated by everyone, the love scenes will likely excite even the most jaded viewers. Nude Celeb's Bio
