Yet another in the seemingly endless line of compilation videos assembled by the rights holders to just about all softcore produced during the 1990's and 2000's (aka: Mainline Releasing Group), Deviant Affairs almost doesn't even attempt a wraparound story. In it, Christine Nguyen and Jezebelle Bond play girlfriends spending a leisurely afternoon together sipping wine, getting backrubs (and more), and trading sex stories culled out of many other MRG titles. It sounds a lot worse than it actually is because the editors here have uncovered some excellent semi-rare scenes from a variety of obscure titles while also giving Nguyen and Bond a few scenes of their own to showcase their bedroom talents. Best from the archive? The scenes featuring lovely, well-endowed and energetic Mandy Fisher from a flick called Naked and Betrayed. Mandy's a National Treasure, pure and simple, and her short softcore career left us with some legendary scenes that are hotter than Hell on an August summer day.

A few years back, MRG was pruchased by a company called New Frontier which had hopes to repackage the infinite volumes of softcore treats contained in the company's expansive library. Thus movies like this will continue to play on late-night cable. While it's always better to get new material in this genre, seeing some of these scenes (like the opening credits love scene with Cheyenne from Deviant Desires without the titles over it) are pretty great. It's also cool to see Julia Kruis looking her very best in two scenes from Scandalous Sex, although here you get her in a couple different movies to compare her changing looks (as you do with Ms. Bond who appears in the new scenes and in an archive scene!)

Produced by the Alexander Institute, a group that produces "instructional and erotic programs for lovers who desire incredible sex" and executive producer Richard Gabai, a veteran b-movie and exploitation film actor, director and producer who recently had broke into mainstream filmmaking, Voyeur is cast to the gills with almost every excellent softcore actress you can think of. The women, thusly, are deliriously good-looking, the love scenes are extremely hot and well-acted and often the story lines are pretty interesting, albeit brief. In Strip Truth, Nakita Kash and her boyfriend open up about past exploits as a means of foreplay, detailing (and reenacting) their most sensual sexual experience. Cheyenne co-stars as one of boyfriend's past lovers. This episode can be found on Voyeur: First Time, which is Volume 2 of the collected series on DVD.

Valerie Spito (Jacy Andrews)is a black widow who's finally come under the suspicion of a police detective and an insurance investigator, both of whom she proceeds to seduce and play against each other. The big "twist ending" is just silly as everyone in the movie appears to be extremely gullible, except for the insurance guy's secretary (the sexy Monica Mayhem), who doesn't really do anything but bang him in his office. I'd say except for Monica's scenes you could skip this one if it every comes on Skinimax.
