AKA: Lost Innocence. When bookish Janie (Myla Leigh) inherits a strip club, she learns it's fun to cut loose. Myla, who never did much softcore work after this, has a killer body, with big, natural breasts. Akira Lane is also on hand, showing the girls how to strip, and Cara Jo Basso and Nissa Hall play friends AND lovers. There's a lot of hot lezbo action in this flick, and plenty of nude girls to keep your attention.

A struggling screenwriter newly tossed from his day job tries to avoid "distractions" and get his newest script completed while women throw themselves at him. His temp stint at a bed and breakfast doesn't help matters much since the innkeeper's sister is painfully attractive (Ander Page) and the guests seem to believe the B&B is actually a sex therapy clinic called "Discoveries," a misunderstanding the writer's best friend is more than happy to exploit "for the sake of the inn's business."

An overall fun softcore romp that in its R-rated cut is a bit of a throwback to the more moderate, but still titillating days of early 90's softcore, Sex Substitute 2 still runs close to 90 minutes with editing. This is surprising, as its unrated version (simply titled Discoveries) supposedly also runs very close to 90 minutes.

If you're looking for more intense, graphic sex, the R-rated version will not suffice. Love scenes last about an average of a minute-and-a-half and on the unrated disc, you apparently get to see a completely cut menage-a-trois that includes the lovely Georgia Adair and Carla Jo Basso as a DVD extra. If, however, you're looking for a nice couples flick with a simple plot-driven story with a good deal of loving in it, you could definitely do a lot worse than the R-rated version of Sex Substitute 2
