Episode 4. An action star seemingly can't leave his trailer without having a nice looking piece of fan-bait dishing herself to him, but in search of a more soulful connection he heads to the swinger party. Becuase, obviously, that's where you find more than just a sweet hook-up. There he meets a sweet blind girl with implants. Ahhh... happy endings all around. August and Syren play skanky babes and play them very well while Kelli Brown brings some acting skill to her role as the vision-impaired sweet girl.

Not all jobs are hard work! After dealing with a male client over the phone, a lonely executive is thrilled when the man cooks up a scheme to meet her in person. When the handsome stranger arrives to check out her recently remodeled apartment, he pays special attention to her bedroom. Now, the pair work out their frustrations with the corporate world between the sheets. Jadra Holly, Nikita Lea, August, Rachel Elizabeth star.

Yet another in the seemingly endless line of compilation videos assembled by the rights holders to just about all softcore produced during the 1990's and 2000's (aka: Mainline Releasing Group), Deviant Affairs almost doesn't even attempt a wraparound story. In it, Christine Nguyen and Jezebelle Bond play girlfriends spending a leisurely afternoon together sipping wine, getting backrubs (and more), and trading sex stories culled out of many other MRG titles. It sounds a lot worse than it actually is because the editors here have uncovered some excellent semi-rare scenes from a variety of obscure titles while also giving Nguyen and Bond a few scenes of their own to showcase their bedroom talents. Best from the archive? The scenes featuring lovely, well-endowed and energetic Mandy Fisher from a flick called Naked and Betrayed. Mandy's a National Treasure, pure and simple, and her short softcore career left us with some legendary scenes that are hotter than Hell on an August summer day.

A few years back, MRG was pruchased by a company called New Frontier which had hopes to repackage the infinite volumes of softcore treats contained in the company's expansive library. Thus movies like this will continue to play on late-night cable. While it's always better to get new material in this genre, seeing some of these scenes (like the opening credits love scene with Cheyenne from Deviant Desires without the titles over it) are pretty great. It's also cool to see Julia Kruis looking her very best in two scenes from Scandalous Sex, although here you get her in a couple different movies to compare her changing looks (as you do with Ms. Bond who appears in the new scenes and in an archive scene!)

A step up from the usual shot-on-video softcore fare that's crowded the market, Naked Players excels in being well shot, even if it doesn't generate a tremendous amount of heat thanks to some iffy acting. Embarrassed by her lack of experience and inability to run with the "bad" crowd, pure-of-heart bookstore manager Karen takes a crash course in naughtiness and finds that it's never too late to learn new skills! A rather friendly, client-oriented pair of spa workers want to get out from underfoot their opppressive boss (played with vampy delight by porn starlet Michelle Lay) and open their own spa. The difficulty is they have no start-up capital. Thus the male spa worker has been giving "happy endings" to some of his female clientele, and soon his female partner (the spectacular Kaylani Lei) is doing the same - but for reasons of the heart and not commerce. Having fallen for her client, her relationship with her partner is tested while he learns that whoring out his services simply isn't the right way to be taken seriously.

Yes, it's from director Woquini Adams, and ever since this name has hit the scene, there has been some fine work attributed to it. Featuring copious amounts of sex and flesh, one has to give kudos to Lei who really gets into her love scenes. It's this kind of fervor that reminds one the genre is still present and accounted for.

Also starring: California Poltico Mary Carey a gal with two TREMENDOUS assets, Jessica Drake, and a bored looking August. Additionally, you have a rather chaste appearance from softcore queen Amy Lindsay who here is credited as Leigh Riley.

Rock star Dax Payne suffers intermittent blackouts which could jeopardize his white-hot band's summer tour plans, so the band's manager hires luscious nurse Kate to keep Dax awake (in more ways than one). When Dax's charms prove too much for Kate to resist, Kate's fiance finds companionship of his own, in the form oa sensual redheaded colleague.

This is an MRG Production picked up by PLayboy and it plays by the conventional rules of the genre. Director Adams moves things along at a good clip, and manages a fairly strong balance between the softcore sex couplings and some more dramatic moments which the almost all pornstar cast perform very well. Particualy good in this picture is Chloe Nicole as Kate, the patient nurse who slowly falls for Mr. Rock and Roll, Dax. It would be nice to see Chloe continue working in the softcore genre as she brings a surprising amount of honesty to her character here.

A direct-to-video sequel often leaves expectations un-met, but with the snappy, fast-paced and crisply directed Single White Female 2: The Psycho viewers are given what they'd expect: a rather taut, fairly sexy, sometimes grisly and occasionally nasty thriller. Cute advertising and promotions executive Holly (Kristen Miller) is gunning for a promotion to Vice President at her firm. Unfortunately, so is her best friend and roommate, Jan (an almost unrecognizable Brooke Burns). Various schemes unravel, resulting in the girls' parting ways on very bad terms, thus Holly answers a newspaper ad and moves in with timid Tess (Allison Lange, a ringer is ever there was one for CSI's Jorja Fox).

Those who have seen the first movie will know where the rest of this is headed, but there are some genuinely surprising moments along the way that make Single White Female worth the rental. Skin watchers beware, however… none of the lovely leads do their own nude work, leaving the duties to doubles Lillian Lassen (who doubles for Kristen Miller and cameos in a night club scene), Tonya Mayeux (doubling for Brooke Burnes and also found in the club scene) and Sarka Jordankova (who does a quick stint for Allison Lange).
