Two scientists volunteer to be cryogenically frozen as part of an experiment, and as a result awaken 50 years later in a post-apocalyptic world that has moved underground after World War III. In addition to this, they are the only two living specimens of the male sex as the entire world is now populated by women. While one of the lads thinks this is terrific, the other is puzzled by women, relationships and love as he has always spent his life with more scholarly pursuits. Soon, however, both hatch a plan to escape the underworld aided by two sympathetic lovelies who are fascinated by the men's tales of the old world.
