The geniuses at Mainline Releasing Group have struck again, this time with an innovative "staged reality program" that features well-known pornstars giving housewives makeovers, and then setting the wives loose on their husbands for some frisky softcore play. Of course the housewives are all actresses - some softcore, some hardcore - and the whole thing seems to be yet another way for MRG to recycle their seemingly endless library of sex scenes from shows like Voyeur. All that said, Pimp My Wife, hosted by Nicole Oring, is a real blast and is filled with some seriously sexy moments. Highly recommended!

Silliness about women scheming against each other to rise to the top in the advertising world. The whole thing is very, very silly with bad acting and a worse script. However, the sex scenes, directed by John Quinn (Beauty Betrayed, Girl For Girl) are first rate. How could they not be with women like Holly Sampson, Angela Davies and Sasha Peralto? When you order this flick, make sure you go for the unrated version.

Season One, Episode 7. A young woman (Angela Davies) decides to relax at a hotel. Unexpectedly, she finds three former lovers also at the hotel. Anything with Angela Davies is on our hit list, but when you throw in Stephanie Swift and Lauren Hayes, we're definitely there. The camera angle where Angela is taking it from behind is pretty much perfect.

Season One, Episode 3. Ryan returns to the agency upset by the outcome of his match and demands a refund. Cooper (Tiffany Bolton) argues that they had fulfilled their contract. Olivia (Amy Lindsay) hires Ryan for the assistant position much to Cooper's annoyance. Also stars Angela Davies and Tanya Lemelle.

Season Two, Episode 12. People are cheating on each other all over the place in this hot episode of the softcore series featuring softcore pro Angela Davies and a lovely mainstream Canadian actress named Janet Tracy Keijser.

Episode 3. Will Roarak need an interview for a Thrills article on personal trainers. Maggie Ford (Angela Davies), who trains celebrities, agrees but only if she can inspect him and his muscles. Angela, in her hsort hair phase, has rarely looked better than she does here, plus the episode opens with a bonus scene of sexpot Lauren Hayes getting it on with Angela West in a sauna.

This is one of Mainline Releasing Group's compilation movies, this time packaging a number of scenes from the late-night cable series Kama Sutra. And what's not to love about these compilations? Here you're served up some of softcore erotica's best stars without the pretense of plot or even many dialogue scenes! Yes, there's some nonsense filler about the producers of an erotic television discussing some of the series' highlights, but that just sets you up for three new, shot on video and cheaply-produced sex scenes starring this movie's credited cast of Tabitha Stevens, Angela Davies and Susan Hale. If you're interested in the origins of the rest of the scenes and the credited cast therein, below is a handy guide. Again, all of the scenes are culled from the daftly named 2000 cable series Kama Sutra which has nothing to do with the Eastern art of lovemaking, but rather was just an excuse to get some very nice looking actresses out of their clothes! Unfortunately, an official DVD release of the series is unlikely, so compilation movies such as these become a goldmine for fans of the genre - especially when the producers leave the scenes largely intact with the original soundtrack.

A step up from the usual shot-on-video softcore fare that's crowded the market, Naked Players excels in being well shot, even if it doesn't generate a tremendous amount of heat thanks to some iffy acting. A struggling screenwriter newly tossed from his day job tries to avoid "distractions" and get his newest script completed while women throw themselves at him. His temp stint at a bed and breakfast doesn't help matters much since the innkeeper's sister is painfully attractive (Ander Page) and the guests seem to believe the B&B is actually a sex therapy clinic called "Discoveries," a misunderstanding the writer's best friend is more than happy to exploit "for the sake of the inn's business."

An overall fun softcore romp that in its R-rated cut is a bit of a throwback to the more moderate, but still titillating days of early 90's softcore, Sex Substitute 2 still runs close to 90 minutes with editing. This is surprising, as its unrated version (simply titled Discoveries) supposedly also runs very close to 90 minutes.

If you're looking for more intense, graphic sex, the R-rated version will not suffice. Love scenes last about an average of a minute-and-a-half and on the unrated disc, you apparently get to see a completely cut menage-a-trois that includes the lovely Georgia Adair and Carla Jo Basso as a DVD extra. If, however, you're looking for a nice couples flick with a simple plot-driven story with a good deal of loving in it, you could definitely do a lot worse than the R-rated version of Sex Substitute 2

Rock star Dax Payne suffers intermittent blackouts which could jeopardize his white-hot band's summer tour plans, so the band's manager hires luscious nurse Kate to keep Dax awake (in more ways than one). When Dax's charms prove too much for Kate to resist, Kate's fiance finds companionship of his own, in the form oa sensual redheaded colleague.

This is an MRG Production picked up by PLayboy and it plays by the conventional rules of the genre. Director Adams moves things along at a good clip, and manages a fairly strong balance between the softcore sex couplings and some more dramatic moments which the almost all pornstar cast perform very well. Particualy good in this picture is Chloe Nicole as Kate, the patient nurse who slowly falls for Mr. Rock and Roll, Dax. It would be nice to see Chloe continue working in the softcore genre as she brings a surprising amount of honesty to her character here.

Although a typical b movie ive given this flick four stars based on miss Angela Davies performance alone! The plot is that a looser is being hassled by an ambitious wife who's dad owns the company he works for, he doesn't know it yet but she's having an affair!

On the second season, this erotic anthology series moves to a desert resort run by the lovely Jenny (Tina Leiu), but keeps the theme of following attractive couples who need a little help in their lovelives.

In this episode the smokin' Angela Davies plays a writer who's forced to stay at the resort by weather delays and spends the time reuniting with a former flame. I'd watch just about anything with Angela in it, so I've got to recommend this. Plus, Hotel Erotica has better than average production values for a Skinimax series.

The story revolves around two couples, Frank and Stephanie and David and Madeline. Frank and Stephanie are rich Hollywood producers, so bored with their contemporary relationship that they take to spying on their houseguests via high-tech surveillance equipment. David and Madeline, on the other hand, are still struggling for their first big breaks. He's a screenwriter and she's an actress, which comes in handy when it comes to convincing Frank and Stephanie to let them use their guesthouse. You see, their relationship is entirely fictitious - designed to help them find decent accomodations while honing their crafts. The truth is they really can't stand each other.

Horrible crap about a troika of strippers (Angela Davies, Tracy Ryan and Amanda Prentice) who use stolen money to escape the mob and open their own strip club in California only to find their troubles are not so easily escaped.

Nikki Fritz stars and becomes a rich mans plaything to pay off her boyfriends gambling debt!
