Quite possibly one of the greatest TV dramas ever to air, David Chase's The Sopranos debuted in 1999 and television was never the same. A brilliant medley of life as the Don of New Jersey versus life as the head of a household, viewers followed Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) as he tried to navigate both sets of treacherous waters. Over seven seasons the show featured stellar regulars and surprising guest stars that ranged from Peter Bogdonavich, Steve Buscemi, Joe Pantoliano, Franki Valli, David Strathairn, Will Arnett, David Lee Roth, Lawrence Taylor and many more. And the women? Fuggedaboutit.

Season Two, Episode 7: Christoper attempts to break into showbusiness by befriending Jon Favreau. Along the way he happens to schtup his cousin's woman (Alicia Witt) and still finds time to give Drea de Matteo a piece.

Very well done 1998 slasher film. Lots of recognizeable stars and a good plot with a twisty surprise ending.

A university is haunted by its past as killings which resemble urban legends become a reality.

No nudity, and the blood and gore, while present, is handled as tastefully as a slasher movie can. Definitely a must for slasher fans who may have missed this movie.

Season Six, Episode 5. Charlie gets more than he bargained for when he tries to make amends to one of Jake's old teachers that he dated, who went off the deep end and became a stripper after he broke up with her.

Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant star in a romantic comedy that's clever enough not to make a guy gag. Sandra's down-to-earth charm and Grant's roguishness keep things lively enough. Grant's performance is a variation on the lout he played in the very funny About A Boy. Bullock plays a liberal lawyer who takes a job with big Trump-like land developer Grant and finds herself falling for him. I can recommend this for a date rental or if you come across it on cable.
